Born and raised in California, Miranda moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue her master's degree. she is currently at Lesley University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy. Miranda's interest lies in movement as a healing modality, which was inspired by her work as a professional dancer in Orange County and LA-based dancer. Her journey of being a dancer has influenced her life by teaching her self-discipline, expression, body awareness, and wellness.

She has seen the influence of movement and how dance can allow for healing, connection, and expression.

Dance has taken Miranda around the world from Italy, Norway, Germany, the Czech Republic, San Francisco, and now New England. Her main focus was in classical ballet but was trained in improvisation, contemporary, jazz, and classical modern dance. Miranda is also a reiki practitioner providing group, individual, and virtual sessions. Miranda is excited to see where her journey as a healer in dance and therapy will take her.
